Reflection unit 2

About unit 2, I have learned something. We have to describe pop culture by two different parts. One is popular. It means that something or someone can be popular is chosen by the most of us. It is our common thoughts. Another is culture. It is associated with the chosen few. That means pop culture should be the best culture. Objects, people, places and events are the four basic elements of popular culture. A pop culture is the top 1 in its field. For example, Oscar is the best movie award in the America, Grammy is the best music award in the America and super bowl is the most famous sport game in the America. They are the pop cultures about America. Furthermore, I have learned the difference between fads and trends. We can divide the pop culture to fads and trends by how long the pop culture can keep being the pop culture. It is not that easy to learn pop culture. It is the new concept to me. I have to translate the words I don’t understand all the time and I need to view the articles several times.
     Before I do the research about Mr. Bean, I have already known about him. He either in his movies or in real life is so humorous. I don’t know he has the phoniatrics because he was talking fluently in the movies. He is also an amateur racer. In my opinion, it is the dangerous thing so that he would have this hobby.
     Bumper sticker: Pop culture is not always the popular culture.

     I learned about some popular famous people. Some of them have the good behaviors. These can be our role models. I can use them in my essay to describe something.
